History

The division of Cantalupi Electric Systems’ products is born: an innovative products range grown up as a result of the big experience of the company.
Nowadays Cantalupi is an international company thanks to the services quality and to the achieved systems, such as Refit, Expertise, Worldwide service, Consultancy and much more.

Cantalupi increases its own know-how in domotic and automation systems for yachts and mega yachts, thanks to its own multi-year experience in ship systems.
In 2006 a new division for the sales of Cantalupi’s product was created: Cantalupi USA. From that moment the reality of the Cantalupi Group is realized.

Inside the Electric Systems is born the “Automation Systems” division, specialized in automation systems, in control systems on board and in first domotic systems.
In 2001, the “Yacht Light” division evolves into a new Company, with independent design, production and sales structures: Cantalupi Lighting srl.

“Cantalupi Electro-mechanics” becomes Cantalupi srl, specialized in achievement of electrical systems for yachts and mega yachts for the most important shipyards.
The serial manufacture extends in these years and now it does business with the most prestigious shipyards, such as Azimut, Perini, Benetti, Codecasa…

With the birth of recreational marine industry, Cantalupi’s experience and competence have been required from the most important shipyards around the world.
In these years Cantalupi cooperates to extremely prestigious projects: the Challenger Team at the America’s Cup, champion team in the Offshore Cuv world. It also cooperates to the achievement of yachts for the international jet set: businessmen, sport champions, actors and princes.
The new Italian shipbuilding industry requires products and services with a very high quality. Cantalupi decides to achieve products dedicated to luxury ships: therefore the division “Yacht Light” is born, dedicated to design and to the achievement of products for ship lighting, with a dedicated production structure, completely Italian.

The brand and the quality of Cantalupi begins to become famous in Europe, Middle East and in America. In these years Cantalupi lays the foundations for services of quality and reliability, which comply to the standards of a booming market.

Bruno Cantalupi, at the age of 20 years old, decides to overtake the small dimensions of fishing boats and he obtains the first contracts or electric systems on tug boats and cargo ships, with more significant dimensions.
